Mmm thanks for the recs. TFATF! Omg, I had a brief but incredibly porn filled love affair with that fandom after I rewatched the movie with slash goggles (as for why it never hit me the first time - I guess was blind, and deaf, and also mentally impaired or something).

Unfinished Business became my go-to comfort fic (ok, the fact that it includes deliciously written dub con and graphic violence probably says weird things about my psyche, but hey, anything goes).

Seriously, I still pull it out and read it sometimes because it's just the right, meaty length and hits everything. I wasn't writing back then, nor did I even really have an LJ (at least not one I actually used), and generally was never online except for massive fic binges, but the UB verse was definitely that hazy good memory from the crazy TFATF black out party. :) I also remember that Riddick crossover you pounded out in some ridiculously short amount of time, the one that was you know, ridiculously hot, and I guess this comment has turned into the pit of feedback I should have left but never did, oops. *g*

Ah, Brian, Dom, nostalgia!

Ok, since I'm apparently playing twenty confessions here, I sort of idly followed your journal in hopes of spotting more Shifting Gears/anything, and it was your episode reactions when SPN first aired that led me to turn to my shallow boy loving limewiring roommate and command: we must download this. NOW.

And for that? Especially after close to twenty fics when I never thought I'd write, entire flists brought down in flailing bits of joy by the sight of Jensen playing a Ken doll or Jared's Giant Porn Hands of Texas (AMEN), and that wee bit of yakfucking business which didn't, you know, conquer the fandom at all, I can never thank you enough. :)
