I absolutely adored this story, just like all of your other work. I've been a huge fan ever since I read the first parts of False Comforts and have made a habit of checking every day since then to see if you've written anything new. I've been shy about posting feedback before this, since I don't have anything particularly eloquent to say, other than thanking you profusely for sharing your wonderful work with us.
