I've read this story before and I'm not sure if I told you then how much I loved it. Well I just reread it and loved it again.
I saw my first ep of Supernatural about two months ago -- it's just started screening in my backwards country, and, quite literally, as the first ad break began I raced upstairs to look for your website. I mean you're always posting about SPN but I didn't even know what it was until I saw the first promo for it on telly. I would never have made the time to watch it if it wasn't for you... so thanks! This was the story that caught my eye -- my very first SPN.
And I love it Maygra. I love the way you deal with their whole prickly relationship. You really make me believe in them as characters, building on the few episodes I've seen, but filling in all the depth hinted at on the show. I love the way you write about men too. I felt this your TFATF stories, and it's the same here. They're just so recognisably male to me. With all the awkwardness and tension of being brothers forced to live together intact, but with a refreshing distance too -- like in your story they are guys first and foremost, gruff, horny, intelligent but not too introspective, and somehow you lay the sexual/emotional thing on top of that without it seeming false.
Thanks for this awesome story. Your passion for them shines through it and makes me care too.
