Adored this whole story, and I think the coda worked beautifully... more like you simply ran out of paper and had to turn the page than of anything 'tacked on'.
I hate that I always leave what feel like generic and pointless comments, but frankly my brain's still off in the world you created and I think it's gonna be there for a while longer.
