The SPN writing staff really does have a knack for mixing both horror and humor without overdoing either end of the spectrum. Very much like the apple pie town and their pet god. I love it when the make the horror play against type. Cheerful psychopaths are way more interesting than creepy, unkempt obvious ones. *g*
