I am enamored of this part too:
“Pissed off too because he really thought he had a handle on how fucked up their lives were and how fucked up he and Sam were, separately and collectively.”
Another fabulous line:

Y’know, people don’t usually do ‘painful Dean’ very well. It usually comes off too emo to match that character. But this rings true. You did a really great job!
And that was some seriously hot sex! Whew!
